ELÆNA - Forest Photo

BIO

ELÆNA is like a magic potion. Concocted from their individual creativity, Natan Niddam, Yoann Maeder, and Damien Sigrand offer a unique style charged with power and emotion. Hints of Radiohead, the freedom of Robert Glasper, and the dreamy escapism of Jordan Rakei blend together seamlessly. The trio stands at the crossroads of genres, somewhere between jazz, groove, and progressive music.

Their third and fourth EPs form the two sides of their first album, Birds Whisper—an eclectic record that reflects their wide-ranging musical vision. The project features guest artists such as Matthieu Michel, NNAVY, Dado Moroni, and Chelsea Reject.

It’s on stage that ELÆNA explores their musical palette most fully, improvising around their compositions, as they do each year during their residency at the Caveau des Vignerons for the Cully Jazz Festival.
